The new Volksbank Aue building is a striking hybrid timber construction that combines regional character with sustainability. Designed by Partner und Partner Architects, the structure is divided into two interconnected units for the bank and the notary's office. Spacious atriums provide natural lighting and an open feeling of space, while the construction with cross-laminated timber ceilings, wooden supports and exposed surfaces underlines the sustainability of the project. Transparency and quality of stay characterise this new location – for employees and customers alike.

Kugelgarn^® makes a significant contribution to the design. Several qualities of the textile floor covering were used in the office and consultation areas. The use of Kugelgarn Volta^® in plank format with colour gradients is particularly impressive. The special arrangement of the planks makes a statement in terms of design and emphasises the open architecture. Kugelgarn® not only impresses with its high durability and ease of care, but also contributes to pleasant room acoustics and a balanced indoor climate.
