Resista was the first Kugelgarn® bestseller. The idea of forming spherical agglomerates from mixtures of staple fibres via special mechanical action had already been invented by Fabromont. However, it resulted in floor coverings that until then had only been suitable for residential use in terms of their durability. With Resista, a Kugelgarn® floor covering was created for the first time which, due to its polymer composition, was 100% suitable for contract use and is still one of our most successful products in this sector today.
Details
Solution-dyed fibres. Swiss Made, GuT seal, TüVprofiCert, class 33 suitable for chair castors in constant use, flame retardant with CE- and VKF certificate. Direction-free, suitable for use in damp locations, with flame-extinguishing layer. A pile layer of 60% polyamide and 40% polypropylene, a three-layer structure with the special fire protection layer in the middle. Medium spherical structure. Wear class 33 and comfort value LC 2 (“good”). Resista® is also available in a conductive option (in addition to the standard antistatic version), as self-laying modules, as self-laying sheeting, as acoustic flooring or as Quickstep® stair covering. 15 colour schemes.
